Headstrong Bio

HEADSTRONG aka ‘Don Jackson’ first got into Dance Music in the early 90′s.
Around those times DJ’s like Sasha, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold
were the main source of inspiration for HEADSTRONG.

Don had always been a guitarist and songwriter in Indie bands up until then touring the country on a
regular basis. It wasnt until visiting clubs like ‘The Eclipse’ in Coventry and various clubs in leeds that he became totally hooked on the dance Scene.

After experimenting with synths and an atari computer in a makeshift
bedroom studio Don soon got into the vibe of a good tune and entered a ‘comp’ on TV on BBC2. His track reached the final 3 out of hundreds of thousands of entries. The final was judged by Pete Tong.

Simon Pitt Bio

Simon Pitt (electraonly)

One of the UK’s new breed of artists, Simon Pitt has established himself as the ‘must see’ DJ on any line-up. An epic combination of Trance & Progressive has seen him DJ in a short space of time for some of the biggest club nights in the country including Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Cream, Slinky, Passion, Ministry Of Sound, Goodgreef, The Gallery and clubs in Ibiza, Germany and Belgium performing alongside the World’s leading DJs.

As a Recording Artist Simon has released his biggest single so far on the mighty Black Hole Recordings label, called “Sun & Moon” which featured on Jonas Steur’s Private Party mix album CD, also a huge remix of Walsh & McAuley’s “Sea Of Lights” on Magic Island Recordings which was included on an Armada compilation. Other releases including “Carpe Diem” on Redux Recordings, “Purpose” on Nukleuz and “Flight Of The Phoenix” on Electra. Simon’s music has gained support from DJ giants such as Ferry Corsten, Bobina, Agnelli & Nelson, Sean Tyas and many others.

Simon also receives worldwide attention from his ‘Electra Radio Show’ Podcast and Radio broadcast on ETN.fm & Sense.fm, which is a monthly show with an hour DJ mix from Simon and including guest mixes from Judge Jules, Markus Schulz, Marcel Woods, Sander van Doorn and many others. The Podcast is available on iTunes and its popularity has resulted in Simon receiving emails from fans on every corner of the globe.

Electra was also the brand used by Simon to create his own DJ Agency, proving himself as a man who can spot future talent early Simon signed up acts like Richard Durrand and Claudia Cazacu who have both since gone on to become DJ Mag Top 100 entries. Along with the agency Simon has used Electra to stage his own events in the UK along with hosting tours from Godskitchen, Cream and Slinky.

When you combine Simon’s work ethic, dedication to the scene, industry knowledge and unmatched passion for his work, it’s not hard to see Simon Pitt is fast becoming a Future Hero for the New Generation.

Matt Darey Bio

CLIENT BIOGRAPHY

Matt Darey has been one of the pioneers of trance since its early beginnings in 1994 with the release of his first (Goah Trance) record “Li Kwan – Point zero” one of Oakenfolds pinnacle tracks. Since then the Matt Darey style has been a major influence on the next generation of trance producers such as Michael Woods (Who was trained by Matt), Above and Beyond, Darren Tate, Neo and Ferina…….etc.

Since then Matt Darey’s remixes and productions have been responsible for many of the massive tunes that made trance a household name in 1999-2000 selling well over a million records with the Darey imprint.

After selling over a million “Euphoria” albums: “Ibiza Euphoria”, “Pure Euphoria” and “Best of Euphoria” Matt has been Djing all over the globe. Oh and Jamie went on to make the world wide smash hits: PF Project – Choose Life, MirrorBall – Givin up, Tzant – Sounds of the wickedness as well as the 3 Jays – Feelin It Too….not bad for two smalltown boys!!!!!!! After taking two years off from making music to travel from 2000 to 2002 Matts back “I needed to take some time out after 18 months of continious clubbing and studio work. I’ve now been back in the studio for the last six months and have many new tunes to be released so watch this space!!!!”
