HEADSTRONG aka ‘Don Jackson’ first got into Dance Music in the early 90′s.
Around those times DJ’s like Sasha, Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Paul Oakenfold
were the main source of inspiration for HEADSTRONG.

Don had always been a guitarist and songwriter in Indie bands up until then touring the country on a
regular basis. It wasnt until visiting clubs like ‘The Eclipse’ in Coventry and various clubs in leeds that he became totally hooked on the dance Scene.

After experimenting with synths and an atari computer in a makeshift
bedroom studio Don soon got into the vibe of a good tune and entered a ‘comp’ on TV on BBC2. His track reached the final 3 out of hundreds of thousands of entries. The final was judged by Pete Tong.
